Established in 1980, Upper Crust Bakery began as
a commissary bakery for the Big 4 restaurants. Since
its establishment, it has grown to become a nationally
recognized mid-sized specialty bakery. Our product
line encompasses over 300 value added baked goods
including, breads, rolls, pastries, cakes, croissants,
muffins and Danish. We service customers in both the
Phoenix metropolitan area and on a national level.
United General Bakery Inc. acquired Upper Crust Bakery
in April 2001. Continuing to do business as Upper
Crust Bakery, the goal of the new organization is
to produce the highest quality products and to continue
development of up-scale items for both existing and
future customers. Tab Navidi, President and CEO of
United General Bakery brings with him over 30 years
of bakery experience in both the food service and
retail arenas. Tab was also the originator of the
‘fresh’ breakfast and pastry program 12
years ago. His knowledge and creativity will help
Upper Crust serve its customers well in the twenty-first
century.
